Write about a meaningful object or place in your life that carries a story.

Response: My house is extremely important to me. I have lived in it since I was born and it holds many memories and stories for me and my family. It has always housed my bedroom, our dining room, even the bathroom are significant to me. I have grown up in the house and it has changed with me. As I transitioned we repainted my room to more match how I wanted it. But a lot of things have also stayed the same, like how we have always used the same chairs and table in the kitchen, or how we still have the sofas that my mom has owned for over 30 years. So much of my house has changed and so much has stayed the same and I think that's nice.

Summary: We read over a Navajo tale about the creation of the world.

Reflection: I think this story has helped me get an idea of the Navajo culture, beliefs and ideals. This will help me understand more how their stories and ideas play out in the future, kind of put it in perspective.
