Write about a conversation that changed you.

Response: I think a conversation that has changed me was when I was talking with my mom. This was probably back in 8th or 9th grade when I had been really stressed about school work and wasn't doing too well. When we were out to eat I had talked a bit about my worries in school. My mom told me that when she was in college she worked really hard and stressed a lot about school too but eventually it burnt her out and that a job mostly done was better than sacrificing yourself which would hurt you further down the road. I really took this to heart and have been a bit more lax with perfectionism and such and I have been a lot happier because of it. I'm really glad my mom and I talked, I've definitely improved since.

Summary: We worked on creating claims, evidence and counter claims.

Reflection: I thought it was very helpful to work on claims and evidence. This has helped me look for different perspectives and how to understand opposing claims.
