Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.

Response: A few years ago I was hanging out with some friends of mine and one said to another, "You look so tired, do you even wash your face?" and it really stuck with me. I know its really stupid but when I was younger I didn't really know how to take care of myself and I hadn't really comprehended personal hygiene. That small sentence really reminded me to wash my face and focus more on keeping myself tidier and it really worked and I felt less groggy in the mornings.

Summary: We worked on our responses to Ambush and took notes on formal and informal language.

Reflection: I thought it was useful to go into more detail on formal language. I hope it will make me better at writing formal work for my essay.
