After two weeks of studying rhetorical devices, types of rhetoric, and methods for identifying rhetorical techniques, which rhetorical device do you find most effective or compelling, and why?

Response: I have found procatalepsis a really effective type of rhetorical device. It works well to look well prepared, being able to predict possible arguments shows a lot of depth and understanding of what you are discussing which makes you more credible. The use of procatalepsis also shuts down certain objections, the writer is able to explain their topic further in depth and get rid of certain questions that may be raised, effectively nipping some room for doubt in the bud.

Summary: We took a test on rhetorical devices.

Reflection: I have a pretty good grasp on rhetorical devices but I still have some more to learn and better hone my understanding.
