What life skills have you learned in high school that will help you live independently after high school? Which skills do you think are essential for your success after high school?

Response: Within highschool I have learned more about speaking in class and thinking for my own. I have had a lot of amazing teachers that encourage insight and creative thought. These traits will help me become more independent and able to rely on myself with an awareness of the world around me. This is something I really value as a person because complacency can lead to things quickly falling apart. As teachers encouraged more autonomy and independent thought I was able to figure out my own ideals and how to take care of myself. This lets me really figure out my own way in life.

Summary: We took even more notes on rhetorical devices.

Reflection: I hadn't realized there were so many different rhetorical devices. I find it so interesting to delve into the many specifics of persuasion.
